Wayne Rooney faces two-match FA suspension for swearing

Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney is facing a two-match ban after being charged by the Football Association for using offensive language.Wayne RooneyRooney may be punished for his celebration after scoring at West Ham
The 25-year-old swore into a pitchside camera after completing his hat-trick in Saturday's 4-2 win at West Ham.
The England international has until 1800 BST on Tuesday to launch an appeal against the charge.
If he accepts it, he will miss the league match with Fulham and the FA Cup semi-final against Manchester City.
The FA's decision has been questioned by Professional Footballers' Association chief Gordon Taylor.
In a statement issued on the PFA website, Taylor said: "Whilst the use of foul and abusive language is not condoned, there is an acceptance by all parties within the game that 'industrial language' is commonly used.
"It becomes an issue when directed towards match officials. However, when used in a spontaneous way in celebration or frustration then it is not normally expected to merit a sanction.
"If sanctions are to be imposed in such circumstances then this has to be done in a balanced and consistent manner, and participants made aware of this fundamental change in approach."
United could look to ask for the punishment to be halved by the FA. If Rooney denies the charge, a hearing will take place on Wednesday.

    Rooney outburst disappointing - PFA
A one-match ban would result in the United star missing Saturday's Premier League game at home to Fulham, while a two-match suspension would also rule him out of the FA Cup semi-final against Manchester City at Wembley on 16 April.
Rooney quickly apologised for his actions after the victory which moved United seven points clear at the top of the Premier League.
The 25-year-old was influential in earning the three points for the Red Devils as he grabbed his three goals in 14 minutes to help his side recover from 2-0 down.
In a statement released by United on Saturday, the striker said: "I want to apologise for any offence that may have been caused by my goal celebration, especially any parents or children that were watching.

Rooney must learn from ban - Keown
"Emotions were running high, and on reflection my heat-of-the-moment reaction was inappropriate. It was not aimed at anyone in particular."
Although Professional Football Association deputy chief executive John Bramhall described Rooney's actions as "disappointing", he said the player acknowledged his responsibility by issuing a swift apology.
"Taking into account the highly pressurised situation within the game, it is still an action that wasn't acceptable and Wayne's apology confirms that," Bramhall told BBC Radio 5 live.
"He has apologised immediately after the game and has clearly realised that they are not the actions you would expect of a player in his position."

United team-mate Rio Ferdinand urged the media to show leniency towards Rooney through hisTwitter account on Sunday.
The defender called for newspapers and radio "to give Wayne a break" adding "he knows what he did was wrong".
Ferdinand said he had spoken to Rooney and the United forward was "genuinely sorry".
FA rules state: "A participant shall at all times act in the best interests of the game and shall not act in any manner which is improper or brings the game into disrepute or use any one, or a combination of, violent conduct, serious foul play, threatening, abusive, indecent or insulting words or behaviour."

    MAFIA 2

Mafia II is a third-person action-adventure video game, the sequel to Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven. It is developed by 2K Czech, previously known as Illusion Softworks, and is published by 2K Games.[5] Originally announced in August 2007 at the Leipzig Games Convention, it was released on PlayStation 3Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows in August 2010.[2][6]

    Gameplay

The game is set in the 1940-50s era Empire Bay a fictional city based on New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Detroit.[7][8] The game features a map of 4 square miles.[9] There are 30-40 vehicles in the game (45 with DLC) as well as licensed music from the era.[10]
Many firearms from the previous return, such as the Thompson submachine gun, the Colt 1911 and a pump-action shotgun. New WWII-era weapons like the MP 40, the M3 submachine gun, the MG 42 and the Beretta Model 38 also appear in the game.
Interacting with objects in the environment involves two action buttons- a standard action and a "violent" action (for example, when stealing a car, the player may choose to either pick its lock or break the window glass), used in context-sensitive situations. A map is included as in the original Mafia game. The checkpoint system has been completely overhauled.[11] New controls include a cover system that allows the player to hide behind objects (such as generators, walls and large crates) to shoot enemies, rather than just using a crouch while behind an object.
It has been stated by 2K Czech that the game's cut scenes are created by the game engine, in real-time, rather than pre-rendered cutscenes. For example if the player is riding in a car and a cut scene starts, the player will be driving the same car and if the car is damaged, that will appear in the cut scene.[12]
The game has three different in game radio stations, Empire Central Radio, Empire Classic Radio and Delta Radio, with licensed music, news, and commercials. The radio stations includes music from different genres including rock and rollbig bandrhythm and bluesdoo-wop, among others with licensed songs by Chuck BerryThe Everly BrothersDean MartinLittle RichardMuddy WatersBuddy Holly & The CricketsBing CrosbyBill Haley & His CometsThe ChordettesBo DiddleyRick NelsonEddie CochranThe ChampsThe DriftersScreamin' Jay HawkinsThe Andrews Sisters, among others.

Japan to scrap stricken nuclear reactors

The BBC's Mark Worthington says the picture painted is one of concern
Japan is to decommission four stricken reactors at the quake-hit Fukushima nuclear plant, the operator says.
Tokyo Electric Power (Tepco) made the announcement three weeks after failing to bring reactors 1 - 4 under control. Locals would be consulted on reactors 5 and 6, which were shut down safely.
Harmful levels of radioactivity have been detected in the area.
More than 11,000 people are known to have been killed by the devastating 11 March earthquake and tsunami.
Emperor Akihito visited a centre for earthquake and tsunami victims in the Tokyo area on Wednesday.
    Rolling blackouts
The emperor's visit "gives me strength" said one of the evacuees.

Japanese experts are considering whether to cover the reactor buildings at the Fukushima Daiichi plant with a special material, to stop the spread of radioactive substances, Chief Cabinet Secretary Yukio Edano says.
On Wednesday, the government ordered nuclear power plant operators to start implementing new safety measures immediately.
The steps - to be completed by the end of April - include preparing back-up power in case of loss of power supply.
Fire trucks will be on standby to intervene and ensure cooling systems for both reactors and pools of used fuel are maintained.
Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Banri Kaieda said this did not mean that nuclear plant operations should be halted.
Tepco's president Masataka Shimizu has been admitted to hospital, suffering from high blood pressure and dizziness.
Hours later, Tepco chairman Tsunehisa Katsumata spoke to reporters for the first time.

He admitted that the company had not been able to cool the reactors, and pledged maximum efforts to stabilise them. And he added that reactors 1-4 would eventually have to be shut down for good.
Mr Katsumata said his company was preparing to compensate those suffering damage caused by radiation leaks.
The chairman also apologised for the inconvenience caused by the rolling blackouts imposed to cope with power shortages.
The earthquake and tsunami damaged the nuclear plant's power supply, leading to a failure of the cooling systems.
Since then engineers have been using seawater to cool down the core of the reactors, but the operation has failed to stop radioactive leaks.
Japan's Prime Minister Naoto Kan has said the country is on "maximum alert".
Tepco has been accused of a lack of transparency and failing to provide information promptly.
